By downloading, accessing, or using YurUp, you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”) and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Have these documents reviewed by qualified legal counsel for your jurisdiction before wide production use. This is a baseline for app store disclosure and in-app linking, written to match how YurUp works today.
YurUp provides software for coordinating shared household activities, including chores (assignments, rotation, streaks, reminders); shared expenses and splits (including optional receipt scanning); household chat, polls, and Order Squads; Chore Court (household disputes and related penalties); an AI assistant (“Tidy”) for household help and summaries; and subscriptions that unlock higher limits and features.
Features may change, be added, or be removed with app updates. The service depends on third-party platforms and providers (including Google Firebase, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and Groq). Outages, policy changes, or discontinuation by those providers may affect availability or functionality.
YurUp is a coordination tool. It is not legal, financial, tax, medical, or other professional advice. AI-generated suggestions from Tidy are informational only.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use YurUp. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
If you use the app on behalf of a household, you represent that you have authority to bind yourself (and, where applicable, that you understand other household members will see shared content you add).
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or legal risk.
YurUp is designed for shared households. When you join or create a household:

YurUp may send prompts, household context, and receipt images to third-party AI providers (currently Groq) to generate responses or parse receipts. Your use of AI features is subject to our Privacy Policy.

Some features require a paid subscription (for example Pro or Elite tiers).
Prices and plan features may change with notice as permitted by applicable store policies and law.
YurUp, its branding, software, and content we provide are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the app or our materials.
You retain ownership of content you submit, but you grant us a license to host, store, display, and process that content as needed to operate the service (including syncing with household members and running AI features you request).
Your use of third-party sign-in, payment, cloud, messaging, and AI services is subject to those providers’ terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, YurUp is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that household coordination outcomes (chores, expenses, disputes, AI suggestions) will meet your expectations.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of others’ rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms, legal requirements, or operational reasons.
You may stop using the app at any time. You may delete your account in Settings where the app provides that option. Account deletion is described in our Privacy Policy, including content that may remain in shared households and billing that remains with Apple or Google.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms at this URL and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable United States jurisdiction where the YurUp operator is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence apply.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
